I'm a simple easy going person... I grew up in the Pacific Northwest... I've always had a passion for nature and the outdoors... In my younger years I spent a lot of time with my dad and friends camping and hiking everywhere I possible could.
I had a lot of great photography influences in my younger years... My grandfather and grandmother always carried a camera of some sort with them as the traveled across the states... My father always had his old Nikon with him and had such a great eye for composition, focus and depth. Of course later on in life I had too many great influential teachers... My high school photography teacher (Rob Behm) gave me the perspective and push I needed to sign up for college… All of my college professors gave me the tools and knowledge I needed for my future! I'm very grateful for all of them.
I graduated in 2005 from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara majoring in Professional Photography and Interactive Multimedia Design.
After college I got a great job as a photo editor for WireImage in Hollywood editing photos from award shows and other red carpet events and Hollywood after parties. I was a digital technician for Markus Klinko & Indrani in California & New York. After that I got a a great opportunity as an interactive multimedia designer for Adlink in Santa Monica... A while later I moved to the Gas Lamp District of San Diego and started really focusing on building my company, Mauth Studios.
Currently, I'm back in my home town of Spokane and loving life… There's nothing like the Pacific Northwest… The scenery, the weather, the long summer nights, the super short winter days, the snow, the rain, the lightning storms, the ice storms, the wind storms, the dry heat, and of course all the great people that make their lives here… I would recommend making it up here if you have never been ;)
I'm fast, creative, punctual, and love learning new things and working on new projects that push me to learn new ways… I'm not the kind of person that says "that can't be done…" I believe if it currently can't be done, no one has found the way to do it yet… It's a simple solution to a lot of problems many of my clients face with their projects… We always work together to accomplish their goals and find a way to make their problems turn into creative learning opportunities.
I'm not your normal creative mind… I return emails, answer my phone, and meet deadlines… My clients depend on me and I take a lot of pride in my work.
